Comply with ECSI policies and procedures that have been developed to meet federal, state, and local laws and regulations for the delivery of ECSI courses. The quality of ECSI courses relies heavily on the Institute Educational Centers. The Educational Centers should maintain the integrity of the course and ensure that all minimum course requirements are met. The Institute Educational Center must provide oversight to assure the quality of the educational experience and of the Institute Instructors.
Monitor ECSI courses to ensure instructional quality. The Institute Educational Centers are responsible for the educational quality of ECSI courses and must ensure that the content is presented in its entirety. The Institute Educational Center must provide oversight to assure that the course content and instructional program complies with the policies and procedures set forth in the ECSI course curriculum.
Institute Educational Centers are responsible for all logistical issues, such as teaching materials, equipment, room reservations, registration, catering, and promotion.
At the completion of each ECSI course, the Institute Educational Center needs to complete an Instructor course roster. Institute Educational Centers can submit an Instructor course roster here for no charge. The Instructor course roster will serve to verify that Institute Instructors have been involved in teaching the mandated one ECSI course within their one-year active period.
The ECSI would like to continually improve its courses; therefore feedback from the course participants and Institute Instructors is very important. Institute Educational Centers should ensure all participants and Institute Instructors complete a course evaluation form. Course evaluation forms can be found in Section 7 of the ECSI Resource Manual.
Completed forms should be collected and archived at each Educational Center.
Institute Educational Centers are responsible for recruiting, preparing and supervising Institute Instructors. Institute Educational Centers must provide oversight to assure the Institute Instructors possess the appropriate skills and knowledge required for teaching ECSI courses.
Institute Educational Centers are responsible for updating Institute Instructors on changes to ECSI course content, ECSI course materials, and ECSI policies and procedures. The ECSI electronic newsletter will assist Institute Educational Centers with this responsibility.
